2. What data we collect
Calculator inputs
All calculations happen entirely within your web browser. Numbers you enter — purchase prices, income figures, deposit amounts — are processed locally using JavaScript and are never transmitted to our servers. We have no record of what you calculated.
Anonymous usage analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes:
- Which pages are visited and how often
- Approximate geographic location (country/region level)
- Browser type and device category
- How visitors arrive at our site (search, direct, referral)
- Time spent on pages
This data is aggregated and anonymous. We cannot identify individual visitors from analytics data. We have enabled IP anonymisation in Google Analytics.
Contact emails
If you contact us by email, we receive and store your email address and message content solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list.

4. Legal basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, our legal basis for processing analytics data is legitimate interests — understanding how our free service is used so we can improve it. You may opt out of analytics by declining cookies on your first visit or via your browser's privacy settings.
